Practical information

The train is the fastest and most convenient way to reach the conference venue from Copenhagen Airport. Direct regional trains to Copenhagen Central Station (Københavns Hovedbanegård) run approximately every 10 minutes, and the journey takes about 15 minutes. Villa Copenhagen is located right next to the central station.

It is also possible to take the metro from the airport; however, this option requires a transfer and takes longer. For that reason, we recommend choosing the regional train for a quicker and more direct journey.

From Copenhagen Airport, you can take Bus 5C towards 'Husum Torv'. The journey to Hovedbanegården (Copenhagen Central Station) takes about 35 minutes. From there, Villa Copenhagen is located just across the street—less than a 3-minute walk.

Villa Copenhagen is located approximately 20 minutes from Copenhagen Airport by car. Taxis are available directly outside the airport. A taxi from the airport typically costs around DKK 300–350 (EUR 40–47), depending on traffic and time of day.

If you arrive in your own car, please be aware that parking near Villa Copenhagen may be limited, so we suggest checking availability at your hotel or using nearby public parking facilities e.g. Q-Park Vesterport, DGI Byen Parking Garage, Apcoa Parking - Axel Towers. 

Travel Guide: From Copenhagen Airport (CPH) to Villa Copenhagen

🚆 Step 1: From Copenhagen Airport to Central Station

1. Find the Train Station

After landing at Copenhagen Airport, follow the signs for “Trains / DSB” in Terminal 3.
The train station is located directly under the terminal — so you do not have to exit the building.

2. Buy Your Ticket

Purchase a ticket to “København H” (Copenhagen Central Station).

You can buy it from:
DSB ticket machines (accept credit cards)
The DSB ticket counter next to the platforms
Price: approx. 36 DKK (≈ €5)
Validity: valid on regional trains and S-trains within Copenhagen.

3. Take the Regional Train

Trains run every 10–20 minutes.
Look for destinations such as “København H”, “Nørreport”, or “Helsingør”.
Travel time: about 13 minutes to Copenhagen Central Station.
 

🚉 Step 2: Arriving at Copenhagen Central Station

When you arrive at København H, follow the signs to the main station hall.
You are now in the heart of the city!

 
🚶 Step 3: Walk to Villa Copenhagen (approx. 2 minutes)

Exit the station via the “Tietgensgade” exit (look for signs to “Tietgensgade” or “Glyptoteket”).
Cross Tietgensgade Street — Villa Copenhagen is right in front of you.
The conference will have its own entrance at Villa Copenhagen. Signposts will direct you towards it. It is also possible to enter via the main lobby area.

ℹ️ Helpful Tips

Tickets: Keep your ticket for inspection during the train ride.
Language: Most Danes speak excellent English — feel free to ask for help.
Taxis: If you prefer, taxis are available outside the airport; the ride to Villa Copenhagen takes about 20 minutes and costs 350–400 DKK (≈ €50).
